Design Details

A fern-green cotton kurta with a printed front yoke panel worked in mustard, red and cream geometric motifs, framed by a woven decorative band. The contrast mustard-yellow dupatta is finished with a green scalloped border that ties the two colours together, and matching yellow trousers complete the set. The green-and-gold palette is warm without being bright, and cotton throughout keeps it comfortable for long days, festive mornings and casual occasions.

My Story

India did not simply grow cotton, it taught the world what to do with it. Spinners here were working the fibre into cloth four thousand years before the mills of Lancashire existed, and Indian dyers held a monopoly on fast, brilliant colour on cotton for so long that European traders spent two centuries trying to reverse-engineer it. Every cotton suit in this collection sits in that lineage - printed, bordered or woven by hand, in a fibre chosen because it moves air, softens with every wash, and was made for exactly this climate.

Wash and Care

Wash in cold water with a mild detergent, separately for the first two or three washes as natural dyes may bleed a little. Do not bleach or wring. Dry in the shade to keep the colour true, and press on a medium heat while slightly damp.
